I sit and wait for word to come. Brynnly has just been taken to the hospital in an ambulance. My little grand-daughter is 4, cute as can be, smart and so grown up for only 4 years old. She is my first and oldest grand-daughter...a joy in our lives.
It has been almost one hour since we received a text, Brynnly perhaps has had a seizures and was on her way to the hospital. All I can do is pray for her. Pray that the Lord blesses her, and holds her safely in the palm of her hands.
You know, when my friends have problems, particularly health problems, they immediately call their prayer rolls. I wish we did more of that, we do put names on the temple rolls and I know that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of the faithful as they pray for those people. I also know that the Lord hears my prayers, and he has answered them in miraculous ways over the years. It is at times like this that we recognize our helplessness and our total dependence upon God. So I prayed, Kurt prayed, then we prayed together.
I just wanted to call everyone I know and have them pray for Brynnly...so I did. I called Grandma Marler, and she called our family members. We have the best family, we always pray for each other. Then I called Mary, Fran and Holly... then I decided to ask my facebook friends to pray. I am feeling the unity of those praying for Brynnly. I can feel the Lord's comfort and strength, and I know that our Savior will love and comfort us all. I will wait patiently upon the Lord as I hear the good news.
